Nancy Susan Stack, 79 of Belmont, Ohio, died July 12, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born February 15, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late William Reed Herbert and Mollie Adeline Holloway Herbert.

Nancy was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church, a former owner/operator of the former Castle Realty and a clerk at Kay Jewelers. She had also worked at the Belmont Correctional Institute until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Stack, Jr.; daughters, Amy Stack and Christi Kalinowski; brothers, Roger and Donald Herbert; infant grandson, Hunter Stack.

Nancy is survived by her son, Clifford "Dan" (Jennifer) Stack III of Belmont, OH; sister, Carolyn Smith of Bethesda, OH; grandchildren, John Gerdau, Amy Kalinowski and Billy, Cortney and Brittany Stack; several great grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received on Friday 4-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, OH where services will be held on Saturday at 11 am with Pastor Andrew Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
