Zakary Nelson Fraelich, 23, of Mount Pleasant, Ohio passed away on Thursday November 30, 2023, in Adena, Ohio. He was born July 26, 2000, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Brian Keith Fraelich and Amanda Dee McCammon Fraelich.

Zakary was a Lance Corporal MP in the United States Marines Corps. He had worked as a laborer at JSW Steel. Zakary was a member of the Adena American Legion, St. Clairsville Moose Lodge, and the Fairpoint Polish Club. Zakary was always a big helping hand to his friends and family. He could always tell a good joke and put a smile on everyone's face.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Daugherty, step grandfather, David Abel and his adopted grandfather Robert Nelson McCammon.

Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Kali (Erman) Williams and Samantha Fraelich; grandparents, Karen Abel, Beatrice Kay Fraelich, and Loren Fraelich; five aunts, Angela McCammon, Sandra McCammon, Dena Grubaugh, Misty Thompson, and Crissy Daugherty; three uncles, Robert Paul McCammon, Matthew Fraelich, and Shawn Daugherty; nephew, Koda Williams, and many cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Pastor Bill Wendell officiating. Full military honors conducted by the United States Marines Corps. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
