Whittelsey, Wilma "Peg", 77, of Bellaire, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire.

Peg was born in Bellaire, Ohio, October 3, 1931, daughter of the late Thomas and Lucille Boughner Porter.

Peg had worked as a secretary and she had worked as a restaurant hostess and was very popular with the owners and clientele. She also operated a housecleaning and caretaking service for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Martha Clark, Laura Burgy, June Conroy, Mary Lee and Phyllis Sevcic; and 5 brothers, Ned Porter, Rev. James Porter, Dr. B. J. Porter, Homer Porter and Thomas Porter.

Peg is survived by two daughters, Susan Blakey of Culver City, California and Linda Whittelsey of Mountain View, California; a grandson, Samuel Blakey; several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Peg?s wishes there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville is in charge of arrangements.
