Wilma Morgan Hawley, 79 formerly of Crabapple Rd., St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Emerald Pointe in Barnesville.

She was born January 2, 1929 in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late Birgie Morgan and Matilda Burt Morgan.

Wilma was a member of Chestnut Level Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Hawley; brothers, Curtis and Wilbur Morgan.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol Sue White of Canton; step mother, Edith Steider of West Liberty, Ohio; four sisters, Letha Elerick of Bannock, Ruth Edgell of Canton, Phyllis Brandon of Monrovia, California, and Beverly Yoe of Belmont; two brothers, Ronald Morgan of Donnerville and Lynn Morgan of Bellefontaine, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Paul White, Denny White, and Tammy Raye all of Canton; 6 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Brent Hopper officiating. Burial follows in Unity Cemetery, New Athens.
