Valigora, William S., 95 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Monroe County Care Center in Woodsfield.
He was born May 11, 1916 in Wolfhurst, Ohio, a son of the late John Valigora and Stephania "Stella" Miernik Valigora.
Bill was the retired owner/operator of Valigora's Hardware and the St. Clairsville Roller Rink, a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville, a charter member of the Saints Club, and a member of Belmont Lodge # 16 F&AM where he served as secretary for 48 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Koteles Valigora; a brother, Adolph "Val" Valigora; a sister, Helen Carey.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean (Ralph) Lutz of Akron, Ohio, and Judy (Bub) Howell of Lewisville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Becky (Bill) Bolon, Todd (Antoinette) Jeffery, Kelly (Stacy) Pickenpaugh, and Chris (Jenna) Lutz; five great grandsons, Dylan, Gabe, Andrew, Carver, and Luke.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Tim Fleeman officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
