Obituary

William "Bill" Polinko, age 80, of St. Clairsville died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Echo Manor in Pickerington, Ohio. He was born September 15, 1925 in Cambridge, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Mary Polinko.

William was a retired electrician from Consolidation Coal Company. He was a member of the Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville; and he was a Navy veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by seven siblings, Mary Demeter, Micky Polinko, Anne Smith, Jule Rates, John Polinko, Andrew Polinko and Catherine Lepley.

Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Watson Polinko; his children, Annette (Dave) Pagura of Pickerington, Ohio, Mark (Linda) Polinko of Lake Zurich, Illinois, Bruce (Victoria) Polinko of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Brad (Tina) Polinko of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Stephany , Lindsay, Bryce and Wyatt Polinko; a sister, Helen Lucko of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Peter Polinko of Nebraska; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Thoburn United Methodist Church, 209 E. Main St., St. Clairsville, on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
