Obituary
William E. Myers, Sr., 72 of Old Moss Run Rd., Bellaire died Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born at Moss Run, Bellaire June 23, 1931 a son of the late Isaac and Anna Spodzial Myers.
Bill was a retired employee of North American Coal No. 6 mine and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Raymond and David Myers and a sister, Helen McMahon.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma McMahon Myers; his children, William E. (Vickie) Myers, Jr. of Jacobsburg; Roger W. (Renee) Myers of Bellaire; Debra A. (Jeff) Rankin of Jacobsburg and John A. (Connie) Myers of Bannock; brothers Ronald J. Myers, Thomas L. Myers and Donald J. Myers all of Bellaire and sisters Carolyn Hupp of Martins Ferry and Doris J. Rumora of Bellaire; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg where services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis and Rev. Ken Kelley officiating. Burial follows in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Belmont Co. Council of American Legions.
