Denham, William Reed "Mr. D.", 76, of St. Clairsville, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 in Wheeling Hospital. He was born January 25, 1932 in St. Clairsville, son of the late Gussie Denham Baugh and Roy Denham.
Mr. Denham retired from Consolidation Coal Company and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church; a graduate of Adena High School; and a member of the American Legion Post 159 in St. Clairsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his loving wife, Inga Taubmann Denham; two daughters, Marianne Denham of St. Clairsville and Cheryl (David) Hashimoto of Jane Lew, WVa.; two sons, William L. (Erin) Denham of St. Clairsville and Tim (Becky) Denham of Westerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Nicole (Tom) Woodford of St. Clairsville and Tyler Denham of Westerville; two step grandchildren, Josh and Morgan Coats of Westerville; two great granddaughters, Megan and Emily Woodford; a brother, Robert of Amarillo, Texas.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
