McKelvey, William James "Bill", 57 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born May 5, 1956 in Bellaire, a son of Edith Moore McKelvey and the late Diamond "Bill" McKelvey.
Bill was a retired truck driver, Methodist, and a member of the Belmont County Saddle Club. He enjoyed horses and trail riding.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Jacobsburg, are his wife, Cathy Mallett McKelvey; a son, James McKelvey of Rayland; a daughter, Jessica (Robert Stewart) McKelvey of Jacobsburg; four sisters, Joanna Palmer of Jacobsburg, Dee Lucas of Alledonia, Dawn Palmer of Jacobsburg, and Suzanna Bahmer of Barnesville; a brother, John McKelvey of Jacobsburg; three grandchildren, Ciara McKelvey, Kylee Bryant, and Dakoda Fowler; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
