William "Bill" Kovalyk Jr., 67, of Bellaire, Ohio, died July 12, 2024, in Country Club Retirement Center.

He was born February 27, 1957, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, a son of the late William "Willie" Kovalyk and Stella Jennie Florek Kovalyk.

Bill was a retired coal miner from Harrison Mining and Hopedale Mining. He was a Christian by faith and a member of Neffs Rod and Gun Club. Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hunting and fishing.

Bill is survived by his two sons, William "Bill" (Nadine) Kovalyk III and Luke Aaron Kovalyk; his former wife, Brenda Kovalyk; and two grandchildren, Logan and Carmen Kovalyk.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Jerry Wenger officiating.
