William F. Hall, Sr., 84, of Parma Heights, Ohio, formerly of Bellaire, died Friday, January 3, 2003 at Marymount Hospital, Garfield Heights, Ohio. He was born December 6, 1918 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late Grover and Jennie Minder Hall.
He was a retired employee from General Motors Company at Parma, Ohio; a member of the State Road Church of the Nazarene at North Royalton; and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sevilla Justice.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Rankin Hall; three daughters, Jennie Cahill of South Carolina, Brenda Lee of Zanesville, Ohio and Sheri Wood of Oklahoma; three sons, William Fred Hall, Jr. of Oklahoma, John Robert Hall of Parma Heights, Ohio and James Alan Hall of Parma, Ohio; a sister, Ann Briggs of Wooster, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery at Armstrongs Mills, Ohio, where full military graveside services will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions.
