French, William "Bill", age 74, of St. Clairsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
He was born June 6, 1933 in Yorkville, Ohio, son of the late Glenn and Jesse Frye French.
Bill was a retired ironworker with 35 years of service with Local # 549. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War; a member of the American Legion Post # 159 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 4811 at Yorkville.
Surviving are his wife, Renie Jean Rusch French; two sons, John French and William French; two daughters, Christine Schau and Kate Holcomb; two brothers, Glenn French Jr. and Patrick R. French; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
