William G. "Jerry" Fox, 51, of Belmont, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at his home. He was born on July 21, 1953 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of Marjorie Kettlewell Fox and the late William F. Fox.

He was an employee of Sears, Roebuck and Company. Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the East Richland Evangelical Friends Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Fox.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Marjorie Fox of Belmont; are his wife, Sonja Sivert Fox; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Pettit of Cameron, West Virginia; two stepdaughters, Heather and Rachael; a brother, Mike (Marcia) Fox of Belmont; and three sisters, Janet (Jim) Thomas and Franie Fox all of Belmont and Jean (Greg) Cline of Circleville, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Visitation will also be held Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. at the Wolf Run Baptist Church, Cameron, West Virginia with Pastor Ron McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Wolf Run Baptist Church Cemetery, Cameron, WV.
