William F. Fox, age 79, of Glencoe-Whitney Rd., Belmont, died Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born December 17, 1924 at Belmont, son of the late Alfred and Ada Talbott Fox.

He was a retired farmer and a retired custodian for the St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools. He was member of the First Christian Church in St. Clairsville and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nancy Thomas; two brothers, Kenneth and John Fox and a sister, Virginia Pickett.

William is survived by his wife, Marjorie Kettlewell Fox; two sons, Mike Fox and his wife Marcia and Jerry Fox and his wife Sonja all of Belmont; three daughters, Janet Thomas and her husband Jim and Franie Fox all of Belmont and Jean Cline and her husband Greg of Circleville, OH; a sister, Dorothy Gooch of St. Clairsville; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday at from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Garloch officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, charity of the donor?s choice or the Stan Scott Ministries.
