Green, William E., 82, of Bellaire, Ohio died Sunday, January 27, 2008 in Ohio Valley Medical Center.

He was born on July 17, 1925 in Wheeling, the son of the late Samuel and Maude Gibbs Green.

William was a former employee of Picoma Industries and sexton of the Linwood and Weeks Cemeteries. He was a member, overseer and greeter at East Richland Friends Church in St. Clairsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Donley Green; a son, Brian Green; two brothers, Sam and Harry Green; and a sister, Peg Bliss.

Surviving are two sons, William Green and George Donley; two daughters, Virginia Wilson and Diann DiFebo; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m., with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Burial will follow at Weeks Cemetery in Bridgeport.
