Obituary
William James Britton, Sr., 77 of Belmont, Ohio died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his home.
He was born November 24, 1939 in Holloway, a son of the late Harry Britton and Edna Kiger Britton.
Bill was retired plant manager for Hill-N-Dale Farms in Flushing and a member of Flushing Alliance Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jake Britton and a sister, Evelyn Borton.
Surviving are his wife, Doris White Britton; three children, Bill (Lisa) Britton, Jr. of Flushing, Kim (Mark) Sommers of St. Clairsville, and Jeff (Dinah) Britton of Morristown; a brother, Bob Britton of Holloway; four grandchildren, Jason, Renee, Jenna, and Emily; four great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Merritt and Pastor Dean Lancaster officiating.
Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
