William “Bill” Elmer Miller, 86, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Thursday February 5, 2026, at Liza’s Place with his family at his bedside. He was born October 17, 1939, in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Elmer F. and Ethel F. Lewis Miller.

Bill was a retired research technician for Mobay/Bayer. He was a 50 + year member of the Ohio Masonic Lodge #1 A.F. & A.M., the Elks Lodge #28 and Fraternal Order of Eagles #1891 in Wheeling and the Moose Lodge #1087 and American Legion Post 3 in Moundsville. He was a member of the Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Karen Sue Fisher Miller; two sons, Jason (Rachel) Miller and Scott (Christina) Miller; five grandchildren, Cade, Reed, Caleb, Grace and Stella Miller; and nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes, no visitation or funeral services are planned.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff and nurses on the 4th Floor at Wheeling Hospital, the staff at Liza’s Place and Belmont County Senior Services.
