Jeffers, William Howard Jr. "Bill", 45, of Glencoe, Ohio died Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Wheeling on June 22, 1964, son of Shirley Helsley Jeffers and the late William Howard Jeffers.
Bill was a former employee of Ross Automotive in Flushing and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was a member of the former Glencoe United Methodist Church and a member of the Glencoe American Legion Post 632.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Howard "ToJo" Jeffers.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Helsley Jeffers; two daughters, Jessica Jeffers and Kahley Jeffers both of Lansing; three sisters, Sheila Junkins of Clarksburg, Ohio, Pam (Dean) Kresak of Morristown and Susan (Steve) Hall of Warnock; two nieces, Cammie Hanson and Bethany Layman; a nephew, Cody Hall; two great nephews, Brandon Brooks and Nathan Layman.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville and again on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Dean Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery.
Belmont County Council of American Legions will conduct Military Honors at 12 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
