Kuthy, William John Jr. "B. J.", 39, of Harrisville, Ohio, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.

He was born December 18, 1969 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of Deborah Taddia Schaafsma and William J. Kuthy Sr.

B. J. was an employee of Tri-Valley Equipment. He was a Catholic by faith; an Eagle Scout of Troop 66; and a member of the True Sportsman?s Club in Jacobsburg.

B. J. was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Helen Kuthy; and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Taddia.

Surviving are his parents, Deborah Taddia (Michael) Schaafsma and William J. (Vicki) Kuthy Sr.; two sons, Zane and Hunter; a sister, Kristi (Ryan) Polone; his maternal grandfather, Donald Taddia; a nephew, Dustin; stepbrothers; aunts and uncles.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 6 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
