Spoon, Willard C., 71, of Barnesville, died April 9, 2008 in Mt. Carmel St. Ann?s Hospital in Westerville.
He was born May 17, 1936 in Pomeroy, Ohio, son of the late Floyd and Thelma Smith Spoon.
Willard was a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Spoon.
Surviving are his children, Willard Spoon, James Spoon, Bill Spoon, Ray Cecil Kovas and Latisha Spoon; and fifteen grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4:30 p.m. Full Military Services will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions at 4:30 p.m.
