Obituary

Wilbur W. Holt, 87 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, September 22, 2007 in Belmont Manor, St. Clairsville.

He was born at Maynard, Ohio on November 5, 1919 a son of the late William Holt and Margaret R. Ewing Holt.

Wilbur was a retired employee of Consolidation Coal Company, a member of the First Presbyterian Church at St. Clairsville, the St. Clairsville Lions Club, American Legion Post #159 and V.F.W. Post # 5356 both at St. Clairsville and was an Army Veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor June Coates Holt and half brothers Jim and Clarence Donley and a great grandson.

He is survived by a daughter Willa L. Rader of Willard, Ohio and a step daughter Norma Deem Kolb of St. Clairsville; a half brother Sherman Donley of Denver, Colorado; four granddaughters and two grandsons; two great granddaughters and two great grandsons

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of the V.F.W. on Thursday at 12:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
