Wesley Allen Cottrell, 56, of St. Clairsville, died November 3, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born December 15, 1962 in Madison County, West Virginia, son of the late Robert Lee Cottrell and Lois Mae Gross Cottrell.

Wesley was the retired owner of a landscaping business in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and enjoyed coin collecting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Cottrell and his father-in-law, John F. Rushman.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Candy L. Rushman Cottrell; two children, Eric L. Cottrell and April L. Cottrell; three brothers, Robert, Gary and Joseph Cottrell; three sisters, Linda Severance, Jeanie Betustak and Renee Pena; mother-in-law, Bertie Rushman; nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Friday at Noon with Pastor Bill Marinelli officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire.
