Weltha F. Goff Baker, 95, of Powahtan Point, Ohio, died April 30, 2023, in the Arbors at Woodsfield, Ohio.

She was born November 25, 1927, in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio, a daughter of the late Alton and Violet Haught Goff.

Weltha was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, who was dedicated to her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Edward Baker; two sons, Carl and Thomas Baker; two sons-in-law, Jim Saffell and Don Smalley; four brothers, Edgar, Larry "Dick", Michael, and Nelson Goff; three sisters, Phyllis Goff, Florence Goff and Ethel Perkins.

Weltha is survived by nine children, Linda Saffell, Alma (Lyle) Tipton, Pamela (Bo) Bier, Danny Baker, Randy (Mel) Baker, Jeri Smalley, Janis (Bryan) Eureka, Melissa (Levi) Miller and Candi (Ray) Whitfield; two brothers, Roscoe (Bonnie) Goff and Douglas Goff; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio with a private burial in Powhatan Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
