Wayne Edward Rinkes, 96, of St. Clairsville, died May 8, 2019 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center.

He was born August 9, 1922 in St. Clairsville, son of the late Harry and Bethel VanDyne Rinkes.

Wayne was retired from Consolidation Coal Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Emma Jane King Rinkes and a grandson, John Rinkes.

Surviving are two sons, Delbert (Joette) Rinkes and John (Marty) Rinkes; a sister, Rosalie Nicholes; grandchildren, Jennifer (Bryan) Martin, Toni Rinkes and Joe (Kim) Rinkes; and great grandchildren, Bailey Rinkes, Haley and Grace Martin, Mia and Rocco Rinkes.

Private Services held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
