Zdanski, Wanda E., 79, of Willow Grove Road, St. Clairsville, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Forest Hill Nursing Home in St. Clairsville.
She was born in St. Clairsville on August 15, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Ludwika Krakowski Dyrdek.
Wanda was a former telephone operator for Ohio Bell. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville; a member of the St. Francis Society and a former American Cancer Society volunteer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodorus "Dutch" Zdanski.
Surviving are her sons, Tim (Penny) Zdanski of Bethesda, Tom (Patty) Zdanski of St. Clairsville and Todd Zdanski of Bellaire; four grandchildren, Misty, Tommy, Christopher and Taylor; two step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; a brother, Ed Dyrdek of Garnet, Kansas; two sisters, Josephine Zien of McMechen and Jeanette Kendzora of St. Clairsville.
Family and friends will be received at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m., with Father Anthony R. Batt the celebrant. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary?s Catholic Church or the St. Francis Society of St. Mary?s Parish.
