Walter F. "Bally" Sikora, 90 of Harrisville, Ohio died Friday, October 27, 2005 at Beckett House in New Concord, Ohio.

He was born at Maynard, Ohio on September 13, 1915 a son of the late Carl and Mary Saflarska Sikora.

Walter was a retired employee of Consol?s Franklin No. 25 mine, a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Maynard, PNA Lodge #455 at Maynard, Maynard American Legion Post 666, Colerain VFW Post 8848 and was an Army veteran of World War II having served in the south Pacific from 1941 to 1945.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Angela "Nellie" Burdyn Sikora; sisters Mary Malenoski, Ann Sikora, Antonia Godaway and Sophia Wodarcyk; brothers John, Charles, Joseph, Stanley and Frank Sikora.

He is survived by two sons, Tom Sikora of Harrisville and Bill (Christine) Sikora of Cleveland; two daughters, Bonnie (Joe) Pruneski of Cambridge and Kathy (Ralph) Pollock of Findlay, Ohio; a sister Rose Kowalczyk of Maynard and a brother Andy Sikora of Maynard; grandchildren Angela House, Julie Pruneski, Sam and Seth Pollock and Michael Pruneski; great grandchildren Lily and Luke Pollock and Ryan House.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Vigil service at 3 p.m. followed by PNA Lodge services at 3:15 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Father Thomas Graven as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct full military honors at the cemetery.
