Walter E. Kinsey, 89, of St. Clairsville, OH died Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. He was born January 25, 1932 in Maynard, OH., a son of the late Beulah Scott Windsheimer.
Walter was a retired Tool & Die Maker from the Imperial Clevite Corporation and Superior Valve Company of Washington, PA. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and had many memberships including Cumberland Trail Genealogy Society, 4-H Club, Sea Scouts, Cub Scouts, Sons of American Revolution, First Families of Ohio-Belmont County-Washington County and the Belmont County Fair Board. Walter proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Kinsey.
Surviving are his loving wife, Carolyn Baker Kinsey of St. Clairsville; sons, Charles (Lisa Wieneke) Kinsey of Adena, OH., Paul (Nancy) Kinsey of Frankfort, OH and Jeffrey Kinsey of St. Clairsville; a sister, Betty Bain; a brother, William Windsheimer both of Maynard; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Moundsville Honor Guard.
