Obituary

BRYKALSKI, Walter Jr., 87, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, made his final journey to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Liza's Place in Wheeling.

He was born September 17, 1925, in Lansing, Ohio, son of the late Walter Brykalski Sr.and Bella Kasrwoski Brykalski.

Walter was a retired employee from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel's Martins Ferry Plant. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Clarksburg United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Grace Minamyer Brykalski; a step grandson, Matthew Riesbeck; four brothers, Frank, Stanley, Edward and Anthony Brykalski; three sisters, Helen Bauknecht, Violet Lenz and Stella Callarik.

Walter is survived by four children, Marilyn "Lynn" Brykalski of Martins Ferry, Walter "Buzz" (Cindy) Brykalski of Cranberry Township, PA, William "Bill" Brykalski of Hayward, CA and Diana (Mike) Riesbeck of St. Clairsville; a sister, Mary Jane Masessa; 9 grandchildren, Danielle, Tiffany, Ashley, Kayla, Mickey, Marty, Derrek, Kelly and Carla; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 1 - 3 and 6 - 8 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Statler and Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
