Obituary
Walter Joseph Jaskowiak, 85 of St. Clairsville formerly of Fairpoint died Monday, February 6, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.
He was born July 22, 1920 in Fairpoint. A son of the late Andrew and Eleanor Jaskowiak.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator from Zaccagnini Coal Co. and a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Fairpoint.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Jaskowiak and sister, Victoria Truchan.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Joe Truchan of St. Clairsville.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Thomas Graven officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
