Walter Evanovich, 90 of Maynard Rd., St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, August 12, 2006 at his home. He was born April 3, 1916 in Studa, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Gustafik Evanovich.

He was a retired employee of Hanna/Consol Coal Company, a member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church and the Maynard Sportsman?s Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Regina Rector Evanovich and Evelyn Scott Evanovich; four brothers, Frank, Dan, Emil, and Henry; two infant sisters.

Surviving are three sisters, Rosie Janoski of Mingo Junction, Antonia Jensen of Land O?Lakes, Florida, and Julia Porter of Creston, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
