Wilbur Gary Crozier, 78, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, surrounded by family. Gary was born on November 12th, 1945, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Stanley and Mary Warner Crozier.
Gary retired in 2009 from First Energy, R.E. Burger Plant in Shadyside, Ohio, after 40 years with the company, where he was a member of the Local 350 Utility Workers Union.
Gary enjoyed drag racing in his early years and later attending car shows, where he would sell antique license plates. During his life he loved buying, restoring, and selling classic cars. Another pleasure of Gary's was attending his favorite restaurants throughout the valley with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Reese Patrice Crozier; three brothers, Chuck, John, and Alvador; and two sisters, Birtie and Opal.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Christine Fiquris Crozier of Jacobsburg; two sisters, Helen Porter and Geneva Gallaher; a sister-in-law, Kim (Steve) Hutson; two sons, Gary (Denise) Crozier of Jacobsburg and Daniel Crozier of Jacobsburg; two grandsons who were the joys of Gary's life, Bryan (Felicia) Crozier of Bethlehem, and Ethan (Sarah) Crozier of Powhatan Point. Gary was also blessed with a great granddaughter, Sunday of Bethlehem who brought so much joy to his life. He was also very close with, Laura and her mother, Phyllis both of Shadyside; and his loyal companions, Kibbie, Molly, Sebastian and Lady Jane.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a future date to celebrate Gary's life with family and friends. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
