Vivian Joan McKimmie, 91, of Flushing, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior February 3, 2022, at Barnesville Hospital.
She was born January 5, 1931, in Shirley, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Riley Wright and Birda Baker Wright.
Vivian dedicated her life to the Lord and her Christian Missionary Alliance Church family in Flushing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved reading, quilting, and watching westerns on television.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Pastor Jack G. McKimmie; a son, Rodney McKimmie; two grandsons; two brothers; and three sisters.
Vivian is survived by her four children, Rhonda Dawson of Follansbee, West Virginia, Pat (Janice) McKimmie of Genoa, Nevada, Jeff (Elaine) McKimmie of Stella, North Carolina, and Scott McKimmie of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a sister, Alice Duckworth of Weirton, West Virginia; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Flushing Alliance Church on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with Pastor's Dave Goodin and Nathan McKeen officiating. Private interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Weirton, West Virginia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Beulah Beach or the Flushing Alliance Church.
