Virginia F. Palmer's Obituary

Virginia "Flip" Brown Palmer, 82, of Pipe Creek, Jacobsburg, Ohio died Monday, October 26, 2015 at home.

She was born in Jacobsburg on September 23, 1933, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Leota Doty Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Palmer in 2011; and a sister Irene Mills.

She was a homemaker and a member of Old Wegee Methodist Church. She also belonged to the J & C Bunco Club and enjoyed bunco with her friends.

Virginia is survived by her three sons, James (Debby) Palmer, Jr. of Virginia, Richard Palmer and Larry (Joanna) Palmer both of Jacobsburg; three daughters, Linda (Danny) Carpenter, Cathy Kuhn and Amy (Kenny) Underwood all of Jacobsburg; two sisters, Helen Saffle and Shirley Palmer; a brother, Lawrence (Pam) Brown of Bellaire; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one due very soon.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
