McFarland, Virginia K., 83 formerly of Barnesville and Colerain, Ohio died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville.

She was born at Barnesville, Ohio on November 25, 1924 a daughter of the late Frank and Jane Turax Toohey.

Virginia was a retired manager from Royal Blue Foods in Columbus, Ohio a 1942 graduate of Barnesville High School and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth J. McFarland; sisters Janet Neely formerly of Barnesville and St. Clairsville and Gene Loy formerly of St. Clairsville and a brother Robert Toohey formerly of Cleveland, Ohio.

She is survived by her sons Paul McFarland of Athens, Ohio and Eric McFarland of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 11 a.m. to time of services at Noon with Jeff Kent officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestview Cemetery at Barnesville, Ohio.
