KOTOPKA, Virginia Lee, 78, of St. Clairsville died Monday, March 26, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on July 25, 1933, daughter of the late James Edgar Cooley and Irene Simpson Cooley.

Virignia was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Cooley.

Virginia is survived by her husband, John Joseph Kotopka; three sons, Joseph (Tammy) Kotopka of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Michael (Debra) Kotopka of St. Clairsville and James (Shelly) Kotopka of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Ruth Stabene and Dorothy Hill both of Star City, West Virginia; three grandchildren Ryan Kotopka, Aimee Shivley and Cory Kotopka and six great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Vigil Service at 3:45 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clairsville with Father Thomas Chillog as celebrant.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Cumberland Trail Fire District.
