Virginia Belle Brooks, 85, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, died June 3, 2019 in Continuing Health Care of Shadyside.

She was born May 26, 1934 in Powhatan Point, daughter of the late John Kenneth Brooks and Ladema Belle Armann Brooks.

Virginia was a former employee of the Convenient Food Mart in Powhatan and a member of Amity United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wilda Jackson and stepmother, Margaret Armann Brooks.

Surviving are her three sisters, Esther Franklin of Reynoldsburg, Abbie Krempasky and Margie Phillips both of Powhatan Point; a brother, Ronnie Brooks; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Amity United Methodist Church in Steinersville on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Steve Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
