IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Victoria Gawain
Tugaoen Trouten
February 21, 2003 – March 10, 2021
Victoria Gawain Tugaoen Trouten, 18, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 10, 2021.
She was born February 21, 2003 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of David S. Trouten Jr. and Dr. Jasmine Tugaoen Trouten.
Victoria was a senior at St Clairsville High School where she was active in Cross Country, Quiz Team, the Recycling Club, the Ski Club, National Honor Society, and Tennis.
Victoria loved the outdoors, gardening, hiking, skiing, and loved swimming, basketball, volleyball, and tennis with her family. She also loved traveling and planning activities and trips. Music played a big role in her life, whether listening to music, playing the piano everyday, and even writing songs.
But most important to her was her love for books. Reading was her passion, and she enjoyed writing short stories and poetry which she often gifted to people she loved.
Victoria cared for the environment and people, raising funds for animal shelters, feeding the poor, and recycling. She picked up trash around lakes and around St Clairsville, a town that she loved. Most recently she wanted to help out with the Innocence Project. She attended and served at St Marys Chuch, and enjoyed serving on missions with her extended family through the Tugaoen Medical Mission Fund.
She held a special bond in her heart for her Pap and Grandma and their unconditional love, and loved staying there as her second home.
Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Domingo Tugaoen and her uncle John Tugaoen.
Victoria is survived by her parents, David and Dr. Jasmine Trouten Jr; her five siblings, Alexander, Daniel, Isabella, Marius and Adrielle Trouten; her Lola, Rufina Tugaoen, and her paternal pap and grandma, Dave and Bonnie Trouten; aunts and uncles, Christian Trouten, Jeanne Zuber, Joseph Tugaoen, Justin Tugaoen, and Joy Russ, as well as many close cousins and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings are required during the visitation and services.
