Victor Carl "Vic" Stepputtis of Hutchinson Dr., St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

He was born November 10, 1919 in Cairo, Nebraska, a son of the late Carl and Emma Wagenknecht Stepputtis.

Vic was a retired realtor from Wheeling Realty, a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in St. Clairsville, an Army veteran of WWII, member and former Quarter Master of VFW Post 5356, member and immediate past chairman of the scholarship committee for American Legion Post 159 of St. Clairsville, a Saints Club member, and Past President of the St. Clairsville Noon Rotary Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Marie Droge Stepputtis; a brother, Harold Stepputtis.

Surviving are daughter, Susan D. Stepputtis, and son, Richard "Rick" Stepputtis and his wife Susan L. of St. Clairsville; sister, Darleen Hitz of Lincoln, Nebraska; three nieces.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in St. Clairsville with Rev. Donna Kraus officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Military honors will be conducted by Belmont County Council of American Legions on Thursday at the church.
