Veronica T. Kyanko, age 82, of Colerain and formerly of Barton, Ohio died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.

She was born September 27, 1922 at Barton, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew Kyanko Sr. and Mary Figura Kyanko.

Veronica was a seamstress for over thirty-five years with Horn?s in Wheeling; a Bridgeport High School graduate and a member of the former Our Lady of Angels Church in Barton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Baker and Mary Rose Gancos; brother, Andrew P. Kyanko Jr. and an infant twin brother.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Alice Kyanko of St. Clairsville; nieces and nephews, Janet (Stanley) Sikora with whom Veronica resided, Marilyn (Keith) Reback of Colorado and Robert Baker of New York; great nieces and nephews, Susan Sikora and fiancé Dave Swartz, Jeff Sikora, Michael (Amber) Sikora, Greg Reback, Michael Reback and Jenny Reback, Christine Baker, Eileen Baker, Mary Baker and Robert Baker.

There will be no visitation. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain, Ohio on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 10 a.m., with Monsignor David Reasbeck the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Arrangements by Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church or the Colerain Volunteer Fire Dept.
