Verna Neff Fulton, 90 of South Marietta St., St. Clairsville died Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at her home. She was born December 19, 1912 at Warnock a daughter of the late Russell Emmett and Bessie Ault Neff.

Verna was a retired office manager for Eclipse Motor Lines of Bridgeport, a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church at St. Clairsville, a member of Chapter EB P. E. O., Belmont Garden Club and long time member of Zeta Chapter of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority at Bethesda.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, George Thomas Fulton on March 16, 1940 and Colonel James H. Fulton on November 12, 1987; two brothers, J. Wayne Neff and Robert Neff and a nephew, Colonel Robert L. Neff.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Leslie F. "Suelane" Johnson of Wheeling; a grandson, Jeff Johnson of Wheeling; a sister-in-law, Shirley Blake Neff of Syracuse, NY; nieces, Kim Neff Barrett, Karen Neff Whipple and Kristin Neff Froass al of Syracuse, NY and nephew, Brian Wayne Neff of San Diego, CA; great nephew Robert Wayne Neff of San Diego, CA.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating. Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery.
