Velma B. Morris, 94 formerly of Pearl St., Flushing, Ohio died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

She was born June 28, 1911 in Bethesda. A daughter of the late Frank Stidd and Mary Craig Stidd.

She was a member of the Flushing Christian Church and Flushing Senior Citizen?s Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morris; a son, Clark Townsend; brothers, Woodrow, Harry, Stewart "Jimmy" Stidd; sisters, Elizabeth Medley and Doris Stidd.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Sharon Parissh of Michigan; 3 great grandchildren; dear friend Geraldine Ostrander; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Earl Bailey officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
