Ty M. Hess, 34, of Powhatan Point, OH passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at his home.  He was born May 31, 1987, in Wheeling, WV., a son of Ty A. Hess and Tina McGilton Myers.

Ty was a sheet metal worker with Union Local #33 and a Presbyterian by faith.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion #77 and the Neffs Rod and Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandra McGilton; a brother, Trent A. Hess.

Surviving are his parents, Ty A. (Jane) Hess of Quaker City, OH., Tina (David) Myers of Bellaire, OH; his companion, Lashawanda Hewitt and daughter, Tylah Hess of Moundsville, WV; his ex-wife, Courtney Wiggins Hess of Shadyside, OH; stepchildren, Andy and Aubree Hines and Austin Wiggins; grandparents, Robert and Lynne Hess of Senecaville, OH., Thomas and Karen McGilton of St. Clairsville, OH; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services at 7:30 pm with Pastor Gerald Blon officiating.
