Tommy Lee "Bum" Carson, 67, of Bellaire, Ohio, died May 22, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born September 28, 1954, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas E. "Zeke" Carson and Leona "Granny" Myers Carson.

Bum was a painter having worked from Painters Local #91 in Wheeling, WV. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Edward Lee Carson; two sisters, Kathy Schramm and Patty Moodispaw; and a brother-in-law, Mick McGuire.

Bum is survived by his wife, Debbie Newkirk Carson; three children, Tammy (Dan) Wines, Teddy (Danielle) Carson, and Thomas (Chantal) Carson; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Cody) Moore, Lacie (Brady) Wood, and Taz Michael Carson; four great grandchildren, Jace, Liam, and Jolie Wood, and Madden Moore; two sisters, Cindy McGuire and Gloria (Glen) McEndree; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.
