Todd Alan "Lucky" Benda, 55, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died January 2, 2021 in Emerald Pointe Care Center, Barnesville, Ohio.

He was born September 18, 1965 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of Phyllis Johnson Hendershot and the late James Benda.

Todd had worked for OHM. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending times with his family and friends. His favorite sports teams were the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by step-father, William Hendershot and a brother, James "Jimmy" Benda; and father-in-law, Terry Bickmeyer.

Surviving are his mother, Phyllis Hendershot; his fiancée, Jody Bickmeyer; his two children, Harley Benda and Mark Benda; his siblings, Terri Leadenham, David Hendershot, Rusty Hendershot, Michael Hendershot, Jody Hendershot, Nancy Johnson, Scott Hendershot, and Cathy Dare; mother-in-law, Judy Bickmeyer; nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distance and facial coverings will be required during visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
