Thomas Edward Pickenpaugh, 79, of Rockville, MD, died October 31, 2024, at his home.

He was born February 8, 1945, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Douglas Giffen Pickenpaugh and Betty June Brown Pickenpaugh.

Tom was a U. S. Navy veteran and worked for the Department of the Navy. He was a graduate of Kent State University.

Tom is survived by two sisters, Nancy Clark, Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Hurwitz; two brothers, Richard (Sherry) Pickenpaugh and Jeffery Pickenpaugh; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation or service. Private services will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
