Obituary

Thomas E. Neuman, 76 of Hidden Springs, St. Clairsville, Ohio died Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born May 10, 1934 in Wheeling, a son of the late Charles W. Neuman and Amelia Ford Neuman.

Tom was the former owner of Allied Plate Glass and Bellaire Paint and Glass, he also retired from the U.S. Navy and Olin Corp. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Wheeling, member and Past Master of Weyer Lodge #541 F&AM in Centerville, member of Ionic Lodge # 438 in Bellaire, Bellaire Council # 87 Royal & Select Masons, Bellaire Chapter # 107 Royal Arch Masons, Hope Commandery # 26 in Bridgeport, Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville, Osiris Temple of the Shrine in Wheeling, Osiris Legion of Honor, Ohio River Council # 63, Weyer Chapter # 515 OES in Centerville, American Legion Post # 33 in Martins Ferry, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5356 in St. Clairsville, Disabled American Veterans, Amateur Trapshooting Assoc., and Brooke County Sportsmen?s Club where he served as Vice President.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Delores Neuman, May Head, Dorothy Glasow, Nancy Davidson; brothers, Charles, William, Harry, James, & Wilbert Neuman; his beloved dog, Missy on June 24, 2010.

Surviving are his wife, Janet Albaugh Neuman; sisters, Betty Perry of California, Mary (Jim) Nicholson of Missouri, Florence Hartline, of Barnsville, Ohio.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Seitz officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Weyer Lodge will hold Masonic Services at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home and Belmont County Council of American Legions will conduct military honors at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
