Thomas E. Knight, 55, of St. Clairsville, died August 28, 2022, at Valley Hospice Mary Jane Brooks Care Center, Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio.

He was born June 28, 1967, a son of Betty Ann Burghy Knight and the late Thomas Joseph Knight.

Tom was a coal miner at Consolidation Coal Company, Enlow Fork Mine and a member of the Hazelwood Hills Boat Club at Piedmont Lake.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Maggie Jurco.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jean J, Furry Knight; two children, T. J. Knight and Kelsey Knight; two granddaughters, Mckinlee M. Hennessey and Kennedy G. Hennessey; and a brother, Joseph Knight.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday for a visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
