Obituary

Fulton, Thomas B., 67, of St. Clairsville, died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at his home. He was born July 28, 1941 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late Albert Parker Fulton and L. Margaret Bigley Fulton.

Tom was a retired High School Teacher from St. Clairsville High School, Shadyside and Martins Ferry Schools. He was a retired employee and former volunteer of Cumberland Trail Fire Department; he was a former Deputy and Chief Deputy from the Belmont County Sheriffs Dept.; he was a board member for the Belmont County 911 Board and the Belmont County Emergency Management Agency. Tom was a licensed pilot and was the President of the Harrison County Airport Authority. He was a member of Weyer Lodge # 541 F. & A.M. at Centerville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Edward Fulton.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Ramsay Fulton; a son, John Fulton of St. Clairsville; a brother, Parker "Pete" (Patricia) Fulton of Warnock; a sister, Ann Tobin of St. Clairsville; a nephew, Ken Tobin of Warnock; two nieces, Karen (Kevin) Kaauamo of Warnock and Elizabeth (Dale) Kolada of Chicago, Illinois.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating.

There will be a Service held by the Cumberland Trail Fire Dept. at 3:45 and a Masonic Service will be held 7:45 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
