Thomas E. Finan, 80, of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, West Virginia.

He was born January 8, 1941 in Wheeling, West Virginia. Son of the late Edwin and Regina (Violet) Finan.

He spent 33 years as a dedicated delivery man working at United Dairy and finishing his career by retiring from United Parcel Service. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, William and Ruth Marling.

Tom was a terrific husband and wonderful father.  Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Marianne (Marling) Finan; his children Jill Finan Kuhns (Dan Smith); Jana (Christopher) Conroy and Jodi (Ronald) Green. His grandchildren Jarett (Christine) Kuhns; Carson Kuhns; Dalton Conroy and fiance Kaylee Horn; Mackenzie Conroy and fiance Zach Meadows; Brennon (Abbey Cusick), Addison, and Rylie Conroy; Joseph and Michael Green. His great grandchildren Claire, Alexander, and Joy Kuhns. His sister, Barbara (James) Circosta; his sisters in law Judy (Lou) Calagis and Penny (Gary) Kaldor; many nieces and nephews; and his caretaker and dear friend Paula Smith.

We would like to thank the administration and staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home as well as Valley Hospice.

Visitation will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St, Clairsville, Ohio, Tuesday, December 28th from 2-4 and 6-8.  Wednesday, December 29th, Tom will be shown from St. John's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. until time of mass at noon, celebrated by Father Dan Heusel. Per his wishes, Tom will be cremated and remains buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
