COX, Thomas Jefferson, Sr., 72 of Cumberland Run, Jacobsburg, Ohio died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Pennsylvania on September 7, 1941, a son of the late Thomas Cox and Virginia Minet Cox Wheeler.
Tom was a former employee of Phillip's Stamping in Bellaire, a Methodist, and member of Ionic Lodge # 438 F&AM in Bellaire.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Wilbur Wheeler; two brothers, Joe and Larry Cox; a sister, Ann Walker.
Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Delores Yeager Cox; a daughter, Tammy Cox of the home; a son, Tom (Crystal) Cox, Jr. of Cumberland Run; grandchildren, Justine (Anthony) Fry and T.J. Cox; a great grandson, Riley Fry.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Gerald Blon officiating.
Burial follows in Glencoe Cemetery.
Ionic Lodge # 438 will conduct Masonic Services at 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
